The Woods and Surrounding Area

There are 3 acres of private woods with natural paths for you to explore. You can go further afield hiking or mountain biking up the logging road to connect to the old rail-line. Canoe down to Memory Island for an afternoon picnic or to The Galley for a ice cream. There is a government wharf just down the road from Shawnigan Lake village so it is accessible either by boat or you can drive your car around. In the village you will find a drug store, Aitken's grocery store, a gas station, the historical society museum, a video rental shop, a post office, plus a few restaurants from fine dining at Amuse to Subway and everything in between.
