Our house on Shawnigan Lake is available to rent this summer on a weekly basis. Still within a commute to Victoria, Duncan or Nanaimo, it works well for a family or 2 or 3 couples as it sleeps 8+. The dining room table seats 8 comfortably.
Imagine, waking with the sun reflecting off the lake. You grab a fresh coffee and head out to one of the quiet, lakeside decks with your favourite book or scripture to start your morning off. You can hear the birds chirping away, and maybe enjoy a song from our resident song sparrow ("Luciano") as the rest are starting to wake-up. You can all come together for letter-shaped pancakes for breakfast before slathering on the sunscreen for a day out on the dock and playing in the boats. There's plenty to do throughout the day. We have croquet, bocce ball, lots of games, puzzles, books, and inner tubes.
